Class Experience
Forty-five minutes of singing, dancing, and jamming.
Mixed-aged classes have an age range from newborn to 5-years old, which is the model of Music Together®️.
This class provides a family-like environment that enables siblings to attend together and gives every child the freedom to participate and explore without age-specific expectations.
Children participate at their own level by singing, moving, chanting, listening, and exploring musical instruments, while caregivers help create an environment that supports children in achieving basic music competence and learn about early childhood musical development.
Every family receives a Music Together music collection every semester of CDs, songbook and download code to access Family Music Zone®️ and ‘Music Together’ App; These online & offline resources will help caregivers support the children’s musical development by continuing class experience outside classroom.
Music Together® In School at Mundo Montessori
The joy and magic of Music Together®️ is now part of the school experience at Mundo Montessori.
Music Together®️ In School brings research-based music and movement experiences directly into the classroom environment, allowing children to learn through singing, rhythm, movement, instrument exploration, and joyful connection with others. Designed specifically for early childhood educational settings, the program supports not only musical development, but also language growth, social-emotional learning, coordination, creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of music.
The philosophy behind Music Together®️ aligns beautifully with child-centered educational environments like Montessori, where children are encouraged to learn through exploration, repetition, movement, observation, and meaningful participation at their own pace. Each class is playful, developmentally appropriate, and rooted in the belief that all children are naturally musical.
Through weekly in-school music experiences, children are invited to sing, move, listen, imagine, collaborate, and express themselves in a warm and joyful environment where music becomes part of everyday learning.
